A group of psychiatrists were
attending a convention. Four of them decided to leave, and walked out
together. One said to the other three, "People are always coming to us
with their guilt and fears, but we have no one that we can go to when
we have problems." The others agreed.

Then one said, "Since we are all professionals, why don’t we take some time right now to hear each other out?"

The other three agreed.

The first then confessed, "I have an uncontrollable desire to kill my patients."

The second psychiatrist said, "I love expensive things and so I find
ways to cheat my patients out of their money whenever I can so I can
buy the things I want."

The third followed with, "I’m involved with selling drugs and often get my patients to sell them for me."

The fourth psychiatrist then confessed, "I know I’m not supposed to, but no matter how hard I try, I can’t keep a secret…"

Lying is so common in our daily life no matter it is so called "white" or "black" lie .
When you tell a lie,it is because you are trying to hide something or don’t want to hurt the other person???
Not telling the truth EQUALS Lying ?
My definition is:
Not telling the truth  is where you never tell the real issue
Lie is where you totally DENY the whole issue

I personally think that not telling the truth is less sinful than lying and it can be understandable if one really has reasons for not telling the truth at that moment.It is also because when you are not telling the truth,you can still tell it later as if you have not told or no chance to tell or was not proper to tell at the moment,etc,etc,etc….BUT you cannot "un-do" when you tell a lie.You will have to create more lie to cover the previous lie.
Maybe Not telling the truth can be called "white", Lie is "black"???
Lie is really hurt especially when it came from the one who is close and important to you which you really care of.(Family members/husband/wife/siblings/friends/colleagues……ANYONE except strangers).Just wonder how the liar will feel? He/she may not get hurt but I don’t  think he/she is happy. But i am sure that he/she has lost peace in his/her heart and he/she is a loser as he/she is going to lose the trust from the other party.So,be sure that we never be the liar ourselves and do pray for those liars as they don’t know that they had hurt one’s heart.
Judgement and punishment are in God’s hand.God promised will forgive us when we confess our sin.God gives us a chance to confess and why can’t we give those liars a chance too?Because they are important to you that’s why we will feel the hurt is so deep.Forgiveness is a lesson to be learnt and it will benefit both parties as it will "re-connect" the relationship.
So,just like what bible says :"love your enemy"……..Now,"LOVE LIARS" (hahaha…)
Don’t worry, God understands your feelings, He will heal the hurt , He will comfort you, and the most important one,HE WILL BLESS YOU in many folds.We thought we are hurt and were losers BUT we are actually the WINNERS.
Thank God for the promises that He has given to us.
